Mommy's Reflections on three months
Last week, I thought about her about to turn three months old and panicked that soon she would be one and wouldn't be my little baby.
She is sleeping 7 hours fairly consistently and sometimes a little longer. This makes work a little easier. I still love our early morning times when she eats and is happy and smiling before I have to leave for work.
Aunt Krista came to help watch Kiri for just over three weeks. What a wonderful treat. Kiri loves Krista's antics, stories and songs. It seems Krista really loves Kiri too.
Daddy's Reflections
- I really enjoyed taking a month off with Kiri. When it wasn't too hot we would walk down to the local butcher shop and the produce store to get stuff to make for dinner.
- It was fun to see her smile develop and now even a laugh is starting to emerge.
- The wind is fascinating to Kiri. I take her outside to look at the clouds when a storm is moving in.
- I think we really would have been lost without all the help from Oma, Grandpa and Grandma Fisher, Bri, Krista, Heather, Alison, and many more. It really kept me going most weeks to have an extra set of hands. I won't forget your help.
